Together/apart

We shouldn't love
but we cant be just friends
its always the same
the confusion never ends

i cant live without you
your my living breath
the one who cheered me on
when it came down to life and death

but its not right
there so much in our way
i try not to think about others
and what they might say

i love you
but where to go from here?
i know my feelings
but the future isn't as clear

if we even can,
what if we wait?
would we find someone new
would it be to late?

not like we can
but what if we went for it now?

what about my insecurity's?
they only hurt you
and no matter how many times i do it
it gets harder and harder to do

we can't be together

just friends for now
but tell each other our feelings
and keep the love somehow

we have no ties holding us down
but we have the love of each other
and we have the decision ourselves
whether to give it to another

so my friends the time has come
tell me if you agree
we move on with our lives

~what i am saying is we cant be both so why not in our hearts and with each other no matter who comes along be in love even in front of people just not go out, tell others, physically touch (accept certain occasions), or be held down thinking we are promised to each other,,,i feel evil setting out limits but we need em because i know without em myself we would be making out outside your house right now.....lol....tell me what you think babe!
