I love you.

by Em   Mar 18, 2008

(A poem to tell the one you love the truth.)
Listen to what I say,
The truth that I speak,
I want you to know that, "I love you."
Do not be alarmed, please don't run away,
You don't know how hard it was for me to say the truth that hurts inside.
If you don't love me, I'll be fine, I'll survive,
Your pity isn't what I want or need when you understand.
Sometimes I don't know why I love you,
You can be a jerk and a fool,
Just something about you that I am drawn to,
When I see you I smile,
You can always cheer me up,
And I hope you might love me back too.
