There's an awkward silence
but i don't know what to say
i am lost for words
how do u make everything OK?

I'm the worst person to love
i feel sorry for your heart
but there's something still growing
and yearning when we are apart

what do i do now?
all i know is what I've said
I'm always insecure
i have no sense in my head

it just doesn't seem fair
but yet it seems planned
by someone above
to lead me to your hand

ill become better for you
so don't love the person you know now
I'm a failure
but I'll make it up somehow

i love you
and that is all i really know
and I'm sorry if i don't
always let it show

I'm working on it
because you only deserve the best
i hope you will choose me
over all the rest

    i hope you don't feel the need to change for anybody but yourself. You can't make someone else like you and change just for them because in the end you will be the one that is lost. This was a good poem i gave you a 5

    yes, Luke, good song,and good message..Lex, great poem..but you aRE deserving, as I've already told you!! Lovely poem, except for that bit..and never hurts to change for the better no matter what..just do it for yourself and not someone else..the rest will fall into place..take care! Michelle :)
