From lust to lost

by emily   Mar 20, 2008

Your eyes closed, my heart beating fast, your hand on mine, i wish it would last. you came closer i didn't know what to do. you said it was okay so i trusted you. the rush going through my lips, you touched yours with mine, holding on to my hips. we kissed under the black moonlit sky, i never wanted a moment with you to pass me by.

wishing i was yours, you asked to go for a walk.
a feeling so forbidden i couldn't even talk.
as you spoke without making a sound, i knew what you were saying and there was no one around. those gorgeous hazel eyes lined with yellow, i was so full of lust then again you were so mellow.

i thought this would last forever, but then again everyone did. with a love like ours i wouldn't know where to begin.

now your 30 miles away with a new beginning, not knowing that three years ago what you were winning.
i could've had you, but i chose not to hold on. because if i did i knew the feeling would grow strong.

you taught me a lesson to be learned, that years from now I'll look back and see what I've earned.
