Goodbye

When we say goodbye,
Is a day far, far away.
We’ll be together until we die,
Let us cherish every day.

When we said goodbye,
I hoped you hadn’t betrayed me,
And thought, why?
But I knew where you had to be.

When we had said goodbye,
I said a lot of things I didn’t mean,
Thinking back, I started to cry,
There were things I hadn’t seen.

When we said hello once more,
Our past was instantly remember,
And my heart was no longer sore,
Now I know we’ll be together forever.
