Emotional Surgery

by katrina   Mar 21, 2008

You reached inside my lungs and filled me with your air,
Consuming every inch, but you don't even care
You made your way to my eyes, cursed them with your tears
Made me bleed from head to toe, the scars won't disappear
You scored your name into my back, and forced it to break
Wormed your way into my brain, causing my mistakes
Caressing my ears with your voice, and then shouting loud
You've made me deaf, I cannot hear, and if I did I'm not allowed
You forced your way into my mouth, and twisted all my words
And when I look into my mirror, the faces of pain emerge
But most importantly you crushed my heart, your hand inside my chest
Every beat just falls away into nothingness
For this I can't forgive you, cos I can't forgive myself
Who else can I blame, but you and myself?
