Thanks For Ripping Out My Heart

I don't regret loving you, that would mean I thought I'd done something wrong.
It's took my mind and heart awhile to get where it's at, it took so very long.
I don't see a mistake as a mistake but more a lesson learned.
By walking away when you did, you saved us both a little from the burn.
Different needs and different plans, we could never have united as one.
So as crazy as it seems I'm thanking you for everything you've done.
