Fate, my dear
Not just a word
It governs the things
That have not yet occurred

To tell you the truth
I'm a little afraid
That fates gonna give me
Another rain filled parade

Another little truth
You looked so cute today
That my heart controls my logic
No choice but to obey

Yesterday's tomorrow
I guess is today's now
Tempt a little fate with me
We'll just have to figure out how

Tempting fate is so much fun
If even for a while
I realize your the kinda cute I like
I kinda want to make you smile

Todays great enjoyments
Will be tomorrow's past
So lets tempt time to stop itself
And make this moment last

This poem won't end badly
As the other poems might
Can you feel tomorrow coming
Cause right now it's only night

Fingers crossed
Shooting stars
Tempting fate
And healing scars

Of all the wonderful things
That happen at night
Dreams are the reason
I turn off my light

    That was good I think the only thing that kinda spolied it for me was when you said this poem won't end badly I kinda like to be kept in suspense until the end But nonetheless I liked it.

    But I really liked the last stanza.

    Aww. "never regret something that made you smile" and fate is a crazy thing that no1 can understand, that's wat makes life so unpredictable. just hang in there and let that huge heart of urs heal, b/c we all love that heart of urs and wen it breaks, so does ours.

    Tempting fate...loved that! this was a lot more upbeat than some of ur more recent stuff. it was great.

    I loved that stanza and i loved how it was also the title. like 20/5..i swear!!! its beautiful!
