Cold Snow

by Ammo   Mar 23, 2008

Cold and as light as the snow
an email that took seconds to go
Empty, devoid of all feeling
like water frozen below

Where warmth once flowed like a river
Where sun light reflected her glow
Now only the shallows to paddle
A bridge over feelings below

Like the Tundra swept clean of tomorrow
desolate, empty and cold
devoid of any true meaning
Under ice our river now flows
