A Flower

by ShoSho   Mar 24, 2008

A flower beautiful and sweet,
Surrounded by sand beneath its feet,

Slowly begins to die
Without pure water to nourish its heart beat.

Though all the sunshine glows brightly upon its petals.
It still doesn't stop the impurities running through its vessels.

So she waits patiently with the light above her head,
To feel another heart beat before she is dead.
