Lady Lily

by Cellina Rodriguez   Mar 27, 2008

Quiet...peaceful
the sound of birds filled the sky
Lady Lily sat at her desk, typing away at the computer
silence picked up quickly in her room

it was only dawn,
the moon casted away with the ever so beautiful sun that threw it away
slowly it rose in the heaven, hitting the window gently, calmly

Lady Lily glanced upon the glowing light with love
it didn't bother her
she welcomed it with open arms
beautiful she is
but her beauty was her curse i have to confess

not everything she did was nice
As you see she is kind
she is calm and understanding
she seemed to be there always

Yet you don't know the full story you see
but you know beauty is a curse
it began not long ago
the bell tolled hard against the wall

loud and rough it rang, waking poor Lady Lily
alone in her room she pushed away the covers
her hand slamed hard against the keyboard
it rang

She looked upon the glowing light and saw a message
and guess who it is from
from the person she hates so
Quickly she grabbed her glasses, reading over the fine print
to my dear Lily it sent

"I am srry
my heart still beats for you
please take me back," it said
but somehow she paid no mind

To her feet she went, quick and careful
walking over to the window that sat about two feet high
She braced her hand on the warm glass
tears fell fast

than before you knew it the glass shattered
blood gathered, covering her hand
leaving deep gashes
Lady Lily turned, reaching over for the computer

She typed once more, than before anyone had a chance to reply back
Bang!
The computer went over head
out the window it went

She had no chance,
blood casted a spell and before i could help, bang she went to the ground
almost dead you see
a cold breath
a cold sweat raced as i watched

Running out the door i new never to come back
but no as i look back on what she done i laugh
for i was the one who sent the message
and at that moment i knew that even Lady Lily wasn't that perfect
