I Killed You Right?

by Grunge Angel   Mar 27, 2008

I like it
I miss you
I love you
But I killed you right?

From the inside out
I ruined your world
Broke it in half
And spit on it

I like it when you blame me
I know I'm not perfect
But is anything?
I'm no exception

I miss you more than anything
Without you I'm callused and cold
Emotions I need to feel
Let me be so bold,....

I love you like no tomorrow
Living for each moment
Believing with no doubt
Not easy to do

But I killed you right?
I made you numb
I wanted to help
I only hurt

Wow this is a really intense poem. I can feel the pain in the way you write, almost like its alive! Very deep indeed.

"I love you like no tomorrow
    Living for each moment
    Believing with no doubt"

This is my favourite bit in your poem. You describe your love so beautifully, latching onto it as if for survival! A beautiful concept.

I get the sensation from this poem that the person who your character broke (dont know if it is you) was already broken and it is almost like they were trying to find salvation with your character's love. But we all know that one can only save themselves, spiritually anyway.

A great poem full of emotions! Good job!

Also, if you get a chance, have a read over my poems and let me know what you think!
