Trust Me

Without Love Hate is a raging bull blinded by passion determined to kill &; nothing can stop it but love Sometimes even love fails. Love is a new born child It is tender &; vulnerable It will shiver &; die outside a bolted door It needs protection &; time to grow. Trust is the mother of love Fear &; violence are the parents of hate Ignorance is the sister of prejudice but love Love is the child of life. You can make people hate you But you can't make them love you Love is always risky You cannot have love without pain. You can only give love You cannot take it You cannot buy it &; you cannot sell it. Love has no guaranties Love is not easy nor free Love is honest &; open Love can be as strong as a rock But it is also as fragile as a flower. Love can endure But it can also die in an instant Everyone needs love more than anything else Yet it is the most difficult thing to deserve. Love is forgiving or no one could sustain it. Love is hard to find Love is easy to lose Love is never safe Love is always on the line. You have to give love to get love But there are no guarantees Love is not always returned Love does not always win out Fear &; Jealousy often devour it Sometimes the pain is great. Be careful who you love If you open yourself up to cannibals you will be eaten. Love is a bond between us It is a silk thread not a chain It flourishes in freedom It dies in fear It is smothered by distrust Love requires faith &; hope Suspicion &; doubt destroys it Love requires honesty Lies will strangle it Love requires trust Deceit will stifle it. Love may be blind &; forgiving but it is not stupid &; forgetful Love must be tended to survive Love requires kindness &; reassurance. Love cannot live all alone Love is small &; soft It cannot climb the walls of hate nor scale the mountains of fear It cannot cross the rivers of lies nor sail on the seas of prejudice It cannot weather the storms of violence nor grow in a world of war. Yet love endures in human spirit because without love we have nothing
