Time and Prime (aka old shirt)

by emILY   Apr 4, 2008

You never wanted anything more, than to change the pace, and raise the score.
I'm running from this mess you made, its gone to far, you've outcome your stay.
We've lost that deep and special touch, that great connection, it cost too much.
So I'm going home to find the one, who can save my soul, and light the sun.

So, bleed your loss, and change your face
cause everything can be retraced
All those words you said to me
Those special little things
Ive taken all of those beautiful words
and thrown them in the sea.

All those words, are floating there
given my soul and heart to tear.
They've grown so old with pain and time
They're past their life and past their prime

You gave your love, and took it back
I'm like the old shirt on your clothing rack.
You wore it once, then put it back,
That old shirt on your clothing rack...
