Unrequited Love

by T   Apr 6, 2008

You unknowingly pinch the salty drops from my eyes,
But I know, I feel them staining my cheeks,
I feel them squeezing my heart.

You are blissful but you are ignorant
Of what is around you and of what you are about.
You presume and assume what is,
You do not feel about for that more.

Combined I feel we would complete a perfect circle,
The salt would not hurt my face so much,
But then, I hasten to ask,
Will I be the ignorant one pinching out your tears?
