Without A Heart

by Janine Alford   Apr 7, 2008

You stole my heart.
Right from out of my chest.
I liked you from the very start.
I gotta tell you I was impressed.
Wishing you won't tear my heart apart.
You cleaned up my life when it's a mess.
Helped me finish when I didn't know where to start.
Now with you I'm never stressed.
I am now without a heart.

I'm laying here next to you.
You have my heart in your hands.
Mistakes have shown me what to do.
Knowing that this time I found the right man.
Everything just seems new.
Being with you fits my plans.
I'm the lucky soulhat gets to love you.

You have my heart.
I hope you treat it right.
Remember don't tear it apart.
Make sure you hold on to it tight.
So I am without a heart.
