Love as you should see it

Love is a gift,
although many do not realize it, for they only see the tear stains along it's wrapper, not the warmth of it's ribbons.
they only see the ones who whither from its storm, not the ones who rise stronger than before.
they only see the hurt caused to all the world, not the love in the one holding the mourning mother.
we only see the pain it caused not the essence of it in healing.
