Foolish

by abullettotheheart   Apr 8, 2008

She was pacing back and forth
waiting for the bell to ring
her palms were sweating
and she rehearsed what she was going to say
when she came face to face with him
there he was laughing and hes perfect blond hair
blowing in the wind he took one hand and brushed it back and hes blue eyes were visible and she began to melt but she knew what she had to do
she walked straight up to him and foolish her she was at lost for words he stared at her blankly and she felt her self blush
um mm hello he said
she found the strength to look up
i just i um i eh i you you
whatever he said as he brushed on by
WAIT she screamed and she fell to the floor
his friends laughed so he laughed what do you wont EMO he said that was hes name for her
i um i just wanted you to know
I don't stop breathing every time the phone rings
My heart don't race when someones at my door
I've almost given up thinking your ever gonna call
I don't believe in magic anymore.
I just don't lie awake at night
Asking God to get you off my mind
I wish you well
and she smiled , stood up
and walked away
no one even noticed she'd been crying
