Frozen Tears

by x Mo x   Apr 10, 2008

Frozen tears
shatter as they hit the ground.
My broken heart
beats without a sound.
Each gummy bear I eat
reminds me of love's sweet treat.
The first time you said you love me,
but now it feels like it just can't be.
My soul tingles
as I watch the cars go by.
Feeling like
tonight might be the night I die.
Reflections dance in the window panes.
As images burn my loving soul with pain.
Words echo in my weary head.
As tear stains cover my pillow and bed.
Sleepless nights
destroy my pieced together life.
All I want
is for you to stop this haunting strife.

A very cold love poem. I can feel your pain. Has a lot of emotion (like all your poems) and makes me want to cry to. good work and a good read.
