As i stood there and listened...

by olesya   Apr 10, 2008

They started singing slowly
To let us catch our breath
And they sang
Sang like a quire of birds
In the sunrise
Like the waves in
The middle of May
Like the wind on a
Cold winter day
They sang with so much passion
Feeling only two in love could feel
The sound of their voices
Feeling my ears
Making things so real
As I stood there and listened
I felt chills running down my spine
Like thousands of bubbles
In a glass of wine
I stood there and listened as
I closed my eyes
Hoping not to ever hear
Any more of your deceitful lies.
