Him

I watched him take his wave cap off
And put it in his coat
I thought that he would look my way
Or at least that's what I hoped
Its been like this for years now
And I've watched him everyday
Secretly admiring him
And blowing kisses near his way
When he walks into my class
My eyes get big and my hands wet
I feel that feeling that I felt
The first day that we met
Watching him is unexplainable
It's like heavenly bliss
He just don't know how many sleepless nights
Were spent imaging our first kiss
Late at night I'd creep out of bed
And on the balcony I'd stand
With my Teddie, and my blankie,
With his picture in my hand
I watched him very closely
I scanned every step he took
I was like a constant reader
And he was my favorite book
I watched him talking with his boys
So I just stood there for a while
I noticed how his eyes chinked up
Every single time he smiled
And for just about 3 seconds
He looked at me and our eyes linked
I didn't want to end the moment
So I tried hard not to blink
But this trance was surely broken
When this girl came from behind
With this tiny heart shaped pillow
That read "Will you be mine?"
I sat there desperately
Trying to see what he would say
But I could tell by the hand holding
When they walked away
I inhaled shorter breaths
But commenced to walk the halls
It seemed as though my life was going down a never ending fall
With every step I took my body slowly fell apart
My eyes welled up with tears
From symptoms of a
Broken heart...
