The smile

by Alexandraa   Apr 11, 2008

We drew pictures with our hands in thin air , and the next day we fought wondering why we even cared.

We sat on the grass and whisepred in each others ears, but then we layed on your bed and you wondered why my eyes welled up with tears.

We hugged on the footpath our bodies touching so tight, but then you talked about them and I went home and cried all night.

We sat on the park bench talking about our days highs, but then you told me about the night and all I could hear were lies.

We passed each other in the street and I lifted my hand to wave , then you smiled so wide with joy, it was then i felt saved.
