A Battle with the Unknown

by corinereyes   Apr 11, 2008

The slayer beast has come to unfold,
The utmost evil that is unthinkable.
His doings can never be conceived by the mind,
Comprehended by hearts that is pure.

This beast comes to our dreams,
Walks in the dark, grows its power by sin,
Hopeless souls he steals, rejoice in wickedness,
This evil has lived its whole life with rage and sadness.

A place in the devil's pit,
A deal with this evil, you sold your blood,
Excruciating pain, crying in vain,
Like a hundred leech that sips until the last drop.

As I stood on the edge with a tormented heart,
You reached out your hand, eyes that yowl for help.
Am I ready for this battle?
Is my love made by this evil?

A battle with the unknown that crushes my heart,
To redeem your soul with the force thy love.
A drop of tear has fallen from my eyes,
Carried by the wind until it reaches the sky.

That tear hums the great angels of the heavens,
To wage war against this evil, never this fiend can win.
With a lone weapon, a heart that is full of love.
Defeat for this devil, beloved, victory is ours.

(i made this poem for a dear friend who got sick, i felt miserable :(, but for sure there are angels around us who doesn't have wings and a halo ...)
