I suspect

I suspect behind your eyes are things you hide from me
I suspect the things you hide i'd rather not see
I suspect i'd rather not see them for the sadness it would bring
I suspect the sadness would bring me down to places i don't want to be
I suspect those places with darken my heart for the longest time
I suspect that time may last an eternity.

    Upon a first glance this poem looked strange because of the "I suspect" 's that lie right under each other. But it was a very nice read. Building up to more intense lines and finishing it off well!
