If I Could

If I could write a poem

of the things I'd like to do?

My poem would deal exclusively

with things to do for you....

I'd then go find a Rainbow

and Moonbeams from the Sky!

Then weave a Magic Carpet,

That would bring you to my Side..

It would take us to a Land

Where Wishes all come True!

A Paradise of Happiness

That I've Reserved just for You.

Yes! All these things I'd do?

For you and you Alone!

Because in this land, You'll always Be

the King upon my Throne.

Just as Natures Beauty

Inspires an artist Hand....

You! My precious Love

Gives inspiration to this Woman.

A simple Poet or Dreamer. I may be?

Life without your Love, would be an empty life for Me.

May we always Be

One Mind, One Love, One Destiny.
