I'd wait a century for you

I'd wait a century for you

I am among the women that worry every night
If their husbands will make it back alright

Never knowing what tomorrow will bring
Not knowing what a phone call may mean.

Patiently waiting for that dreadful day
You'll leave me to go overseas

Praying everyday for you to come home
Our baby needs his daddy to show it love

I don't want to live one day without you
But when its your time you will go

My love for you will never change
If anything it will grow instead of stay the same

I don't want you to fight this war but you are
part of the army and that's what you are for

I don't want to worry every day wondering
Whether or not you will be ok

I know that you are strong and nothing
Will keep you from me and our child

You can fight through everyday just knowing
That we will be waiting for you all the way

Ill dream of you at night and see that
Cute face that always made my day

Just promise me that no matter how bad
It may get you wont forget we are waiting for you
