Waiting Forever

Why does my heart not stop,
From wanting you so much?
Why can't i find the words to explain how
I long to feel your hugs?

Is there a word that will describe
This happiness that's inside
That's seems to give me life
As time goes by

It would be great
If I can see you smile
And it would be better
If I can hold you in my arms

To have you look into my eyes
And wait to hear you say
Something that would help me
to take this pain away

If waiting forever might work
Then I guess that's what Ill do
For me, it'll be worth it
To finally be with you.
