A shimmering wonder
close but just out of reach
screech goes the swing as i try to join you in the sky
back down again
missed, never always there
but not far behind
i can see you by day and more at night
blue tint rings your face
seeing into my soul with
such intensity until i break
the swelling in my throat burns
until i scream
you disappear as dark clouds roll in
thunder claps. im lost.
youre no where to be seen
cold drops hit my skin
i breathe in

a tear rolls down my cheek
screaming now. chocking
on the words i didnt say
a blur crosses my path and stops
wipes my tears away
i look up and there you are
back again
the rain stops, i look up
