Death, Wide Awake

by Samantha   Apr 17, 2008

Here I am, and where are you?
So far away, with others to turn to.
Once, we thought we'd never be far
And once has passed, so here we are.
But where I am is not with you,
Or I would be going along with her, too.
Sad to see what we became,
I know the emotions of the rain.
Are we better where we are now?
Some day, will you forget me, some how?
Part of me will always be waiting for me, in your arms.
Pieces of my heart will never escape your charms.
But I sit here, awake, when I should be sleeping,
And my life is leaving, silently seeping,
Because the clock keeps moving, less and less,
But more and more. Only to stop with your caress.
