Falling Down the Wishing Well

by Kaylyn   Apr 17, 2008

You let me fall
Fall for you
Yet you caught me
As I caught you

I knew you would
Though at first I didn't believe
You're always there
Telling me not to worry

Yet I worry no matter what you say
I worry about what will happen
What will happen to us
Through this vast emptiness between

You say I don't have to
Cause you won't do anything
Yet you never know

You always say you
Trust me enough
Enough to know
I won't do anything to hurt you too

Yet the worry comes
And I can't stop
No matter how much I try
How much I don't want to

And that is why
I sit here today
Writing this to you
So there's nothing we can do

Nothing we can do
Writing this to you
I'll never hurt you dear
Cause I love you my baby-bear
