Present Tense of Two

by VioletViolence   Apr 19, 2008

Let's fly into the star-less night like we've done before.
It's so nice to use a tense meaning two
Instead of forgotten one.
How about we open the enticing third door...

I remember nights before you.
Those dream-less nights that left a void
into a corner of my badly patched heart.
I remember how once you voiced an appearance,
my heart, renewed, sang.

Oh, these irreplaceable joys I share with you.

And, my God, these feelings you bring too.

Never have I had as much faith in a relationship
as ours tonight.
Never once did I hear the once vanished beats of wings
of black spotted white birds in flight.

Speak your soft words of passion once more
and I'll give your lips a place to rest.
be my world to it's very core,
and I will be the best.
