Grow old with me

by mumumix   Apr 22, 2008

As I stare out the window
A bee buzzes by
I look up and I stare there
Just staring at the sky

The clouds are white puffs
Like cotton and glue
They are happy and jolly
just like me and you

I look at the sun
all flinty and bright
When i flick off the switch
It soon becomes night

The moon floats up
and says goodnight to the sun
I count the moons crevices
The night has begun

A bat glides by
followed by a bug
Across runs a wolf
I smile without a shrug

I hold you there tight
With you in my hold
I could stare out this window
Until We get old

And you know one thing dear
I wouldn't mind that
Growing old with you
Couldn't be that flat

I love you forever
young and old
Day and night
My love for you is like a fight
