Far Away From You

People may search a lifetime for the one person that they can't get enough of, but what if you find the one at a young age?
I'd consider myself lucky, but of course, there's a catch.
She lives in a far away land.

This might just well be the case that I'm in,
so here's the big question I'm asking you:
why does it feel like she's so near, it's as if she's within me.
Within my mind's thoughts, dreams;
she's what keeps my heart beating as if she is the one that flows through my bloodstream.

I've found the one, so why must I suffer this void that rips my soul apart?
Why am I being tortured for listening to my heart?
I feel like my heart as betrayed me too many times,
and all I wanna know is why?
