The Unspeakable Difference

by McGeek   Apr 25, 2008

In Reality:
I could buy a pair of jeans
Or a couple of hair bows.
Spend money on whatever I want.
Go wherever I want to go.
Do what I want to do
and follow a "dream".
Be who I am -- for now,
But become who I am meant to be.

But instead:
I will dream the world for you.
Make you a part of my heart.
Take you beyond paradise,
Love you for the man you are.
I will want you because you want me.
Help you see what can't be shown;
Paint you a story with my words,
And create a perfect portrait to call our own.
So, I will never leave your side;
Be there through thick and thin.
Become your Sleeping Beauty and
Awake much to your kiss --
Then and only then.
