My own superhero..

There was this guy..
who melted and froze my heart..
he promised to love me
and care for me even if we're apart..

he's not as tough as Superman..
he has no superpowers..
but he could kill me with his smile..
and could knock me off just by giving me flowers..

he's not as mysterious as Batman..
no gadgets nor cars to show off..
but he impresses me with his actions..
and sweet words that makes me soft..

he's not as brave as Spiderman..
he can't climb walls nor swing on buildings..
yet with his kiss, he makes me fly..
and with his hug, i know he's mine..

he's not as versatile as the fantastic 4..
he can't be turned into fire nor be invisible..
but his gentle eyes and sweet smile
are the things that are most incomparable..

he's not as daring as Daredevil..
he doesn't fight bad people nor save mankind..
all he does is care for me and love me..
that's why he is always on my mind..

he loves me for who i am..
he accepts me unconditionally..
forgives my mistakes,
and treats me fairly..

indeed, he has no superpowers..
No cool cars and devices..
but he loves me..
and i could not ask for more..

he is my own superhero..
By his actions and words..
i already knew from the start..
that he has my heart ..
he is the one that loves me faithfully..
i now know that we were meant to be..
