If that was how you became a vampire

by Dead Is The New Alive   Apr 26, 2008

The night was almost over
And you had to go
It seemed like a short walk to the door
You slid on your shoes and grabbed your stuff
Standing there
We hugged
That alone sent my heart racing
I could feel your hand moving across my back
Dizziness over came me
When your sent settled in my mind
As your heart beat
Sounded like a lullaby
That would sing me to sleep
From now on
Our feet took a step back
We stood awkwardly for a second
Then our lips collided
Simple and sweet
And you stole my breath in the process
I watched you leave
As my mind thought
If that was how you became a vampire
I wouldn't mind it at all
