Risking Everything

When a person gets hurt
Over and over again
They tend to not trust anyone
They don't let anyone in.

Well I'm one of those people
I've been left, cheated on, and lied to
It's hard for me to trust anyone
I just don't know what to do.

Everytime someone gets close to me
I always push them away
Everytime I start to like someone
I'll disappear for a day.

I'm way too scared to go through,
once again the same thing
I can't handle getting hurt again
In this so-called relationship or fling.

But I found someone who seems different
He tells me I dont have to worry about a thing
He tells me he'll never hurt me
Happiness is what he'll bring.

So now I'm risking everything to be with him
And I dont even know what he'll say
I'm just wishing and hoping
That with me, he'll want to stay.
