Falling Star

Simple yet so effective.

Tonight I saw a falling star,
And for awhile I watched it from far
Deep into the big night sky
As I thought and took a sigh.....

^^ Excellent rhythm flowing through this one and simple words that still shone in the mind of the reader portraying this unique picture.

If the sky was the depth of love
And those who love are the stars above
Shining brightly near and far
Then I would become that falling star.

^^ The first two lines of this stanza added so much depth to this poem. Rhythm here was also good and once again the simplicity has engraved your thoughts into my mind.
