Eros Had One Arrow (part 2- her view)

by Curing the Comon Cliche   Apr 30, 2008

You're standing in this unknown room
How you got here you don't know
Should you wait for an explanation?
Or should you turn around and go?

You don't know how you got here
You've never seen this place
You scan the dancing couples
See not one familiar face

Then suddenly you know where you are
You're trapped inside his dream
You see him walking toward you
Forgetting that your eyes scream

Why has he stopped walking?
You eyes surrender what your lips would say
Well, it's for the best
You would have hurt him either way

Your lips form the word "sorry"
Sorry you don't feel the same
Sorry you trapped in this dream
Sorry a sad dream it became

Eros would make as much mischief as he possibly could by wounding the hearts of all, but according to one legend he himself fell in love.
