If you screamed out, "i hate you"
i would scream, "i love you too"
all relationships have ups and downs
but ours move sideways too

moving parallel to the ground
it sores above the clouds
but half the time we're dragged back down
and scraping on the ground

our relationship has cuts and bruises
that tells a story of its own
which paints a picture to show
how much we have grown.
