They say that when your heart beats,
It doesn't just beat; it tests you.

Mine is testing me now.
To it I must bow.
As twisted as it seems,
I must let the darkness fade away.

Shh come closer,
Please don't let me fall.
To you I always call.
So why do I feel this way?

Why am I on the wrong side of the glass?
Blocked from you and this reality.
"Thats what you guys do."
Isn't that what you said?

Made me feel like "everybody else".
Just stop, please, she's not for you.
Help me fight the beat; the test.
I'm trying, but you bring out my best.

Poem was inspired but my sudden sadness having just discovered the guy I like is with another girl. So, what now?
