Wow i loved this poem
there must be some lucky girl
anyway i loved it
keep it up

my fav part was :
Though I know not the meaning of life,
I know that you are a part of mine forever more
and I want no other,
just beautiful you

it was just very sweet!

I love this poem, I really do. It made me smile when you first showed it to me.

"You are to me like water in the dessert,
When I'm fed up with everything,you keep me going
Keeping me sane in this mirage of an existence"

I love how you used the word "Dessert" then later you used "Mirage" because they both have something to do with each other. I'm not sure if people noticed that but I just thought I would point it out.

"You are to me like air to the lungs,
without you I'd die gasping for your beauty"

This is my favorite part of the poem, so sweet and so honest I loved it.

"As repetitive as the waves touch the shore
you shall be on my mind forever more"

This part is VERY sweet as well, I like it. and as I am on your mind forever more, you shall be on mine till the day that I die.

"You are the laughter amongst sadness"

I like your contrast with laughter and sadness, which are total opposites, gives the poem more depth.

"True love was once an enigma
but I've solved this riddle...
You were the answer"

I've heard this before from other places, But the way you used it was totally different from how most poets would. You changed the wording but made it mean the same thing. Perfectly put in to words.

I love this ending, and I must have used the word "Sweet" a hundred times in this comment but this part really is sweet. It was a great ending to this poem. And I like how the final words are the title of your poem. This poem was truly amazing and perfect. Good job.

Beautiful you is beautiful poem.. it has beautiful words, strong emotion, nice flow. First stanza is beautiful, 2nd is also beautiful, 3rd is more beautiful, and 4th is the most beautiful, I like the way you describe your ideas..
As if you could make it longer, it would be more beautiful.

This was my favorite sanza I loved it so much.
this poem is very sweet you can feel the love in the words. it reminds me of the person i love you are a very good poet

I wrote this 10 years ago for a girl I felt I wouldn't be able to live without. We broke up in April of this year (2018) which was shortly after the ten year anniversary of this poem. There is a sad irony in this. I haven't written poetry ever since the last post I made here. I feel a deep sadness when I read this now. A reminder of what once was.
