Down River South

by Isabelle K Xiong   May 2, 2008

Sitting under these blossom trees
Reading his lyrics, sound so sweet
True, River South flow never end
Yet, every year blossom bloom the same

Everyday different fishes swim this river
But the rocks and plants didn't travel under
Like the road we all share the same path
But only to hold one's hand love until death

And if I were to die and be buried here
Blossom pedals touch my grave every year
Where love memories remain forever
Committee suicide and be buried as lover

To die in the name of love
To never bid farewell, to never part
Even when the clouds blind these eyes
I could still feel your love in my skies

We don't understand any hate or suffer
Only love, the rainbow of never ending colors
Keeping our affairs and lies secretly
Believing our love will reach eternity

Sailing down River South in July
With him recite poems and drinking wine
We both wishes for the moment to freeze
Down River South how much in love were we?
