THE END

by RUNAMUCK   May 3, 2008

FIGHTING HARD FROM THIS PAIN INSIDE,
NO PLACE TO RUN, NO WHERE TO HIDE.

THIS LIFE OF MINE HAS TAKEN ITS TOLL,
EVERY DAY PASSING ANOTHER PIECE OF MY SOUL.

FROM ALL THE CUTS I NO LONGER BLEED,
MANY PEOPLE FROM MY HEART, CAN NO LONGER FEED.

DON'T TELL ME TO LOOK, TO SEE THE LIGHT,
I'M COMFORT BY THE EMBRACE OF THE NIGHT.

LOOK AT ME YOU'LL SEE NO FEAR,
MY EYE'S UNABLE TO SHEAD A TEAR.

DON'T LOOK AT ME AND ASK ME WHY,
NO SELF INDULGENT PITY AS YOU SIT AND CRY.

SO TIRED OF ALL THIS WORTHLESS STRIFE,
I PRAY TO GOD JUST END THIS HOPELESS LIFE.
