I'm just watching

I sit there,
in the back of th room
wishing i was up with him,
and all the cool people too.

i am too scared to ask him.
too scared of getting rejected.
too scared of not being accepted.

do i dare walk up there?
do i dare to even talk to him?
do i dare stop him in the hall
and tell him how i feel?

when will i finally get up the courage,
to go to him and say hey?

maybe tomorrow, no maybe at lunch?
i don't know..

i sit there,
in the back of th room
thinking about all of this
as i stand up and move
up to the front of the room.

and i have decided, today,
is the day.
