My Dream

Once upon a time... I dream that one day
I will find a true love that love to be swept away

I waited for that day
I got down on my knees, close my eyes and I prayed
When I open my heart I found you
From that moment, I knew
That there was true love beating in the hearts of two

I know you are from heaven and we never will part
For I love you from the bottom of my heart
You are my angel from up above
I will give you my everlasting love

When we take our walks at night
Under the moon that's big and bright
With the caress of your sweet tender hand
As we leave our footprints in the soft wet sand

You have made my dreams come true
I will always love only just you.

    A right that goes to show dreams can come true...gives the reader a little bit of hope to hold onto their own dreams.Well done on such a beautiful write.

    What you have is certainly special, and you do a phenomenal job at showing it.
    The story within the poem is heartwarming, and inspires me to be able to have hope for finding a similar true love, someday.
    I think you may benefit by making sure that 'I' is always uppercase.
    It makes the piece easier to read, overall.
    Great job, keep writing.
