Leaving scars

by jack   May 5, 2008

My world stops spinning
i feel nothing without you
unmatched beauty takes my breath away
like stepping outside on a cold winters day

shreds of tears
roll cracks through my face
leaving scars,

where do i walk to now
through the park on the frost
kicking through leaves
my hand is empty
no other glove fits in mine

dark clouds now gather
intercepting my sun, for you are gone
lost hope if you would look back
you stay straight and true

now under the moon
on the very same bench we shared our first kiss
i sit alone, the stars gaze upon one
knowing there place

why do i not know mine
insignificant thoughts racing
confused and disillusioned.
my world has now stop for what seems an eternity
precious memories erased with a word
the bench now cold and desolate
as she said goodbye.
