A fight in the dark

by Brad Quammen   May 7, 2008

Born of this country, you and I
we must answer to the call
They can be-head us,and scare us,
and make our buildings fall
But when we go to war, together we shall be
To fight against our enemy full of animosity
They claim to be the righteous
They claim to know all and more
Yet we know they are the cowards
and we shall settle the score
They hide within their dug-out holes
trying to avoid the inevitable
Fighting against us,
a righteous giant that can't be beat,
because they are unable
That's why they sneak and duck and dodge
and plant their roadside bombs
Causing our warriors to be cautious
always having sweaty palms
So what I say we do this day,
to the terrorists of Islam
We should flush them out of their holes
and use the Atom bomb
