My angel, my drug

by Bitter Sweet Angel   May 7, 2008

I thank God for sending me an angel,
My life was complete and utterly blissful
Since the day you came into my life
I no longer had this inner strife

My life and everything became so clear,
Nothing to doubt, nothing to fear.
My soul was put in a trance,
From one simple glance.

But nothing ever stays perfect,
You were my drug, and I was an addict.
Without my fix, I slowly fell apart,
I wanted every part of you sweetheart.

I soon found myself insecure,
I desperatly searched for a cure.
But all I ever really needed was you,
Why couldn't you just get the clue?

All I ask of you is to reassure me,
Tell me I'm your one and only baby.
Hold me, tell me I'm beautiful & how you feel,
Darling, for those sweet words I would simply kill

But I guess that's too much to ask for,
Just remember your the only one I simply adore.
You will forever have my heart,
And baby this is just the start.
