I love this poem and i personaly thing the world would be so much better if the women in the abusive relationships did take a step, it doesnt have to be killing the guy, but hey if thats what it takes to end the cycle.

I really liked how you did this poem in the perspective of a woman! tho its sad this happens! It would be interesting if you would write something from a male perspective.

That's the thing... when I write poetry I tend to get into a mind set of the poem itself. Inside the mind of a man that beats women and thinks it's okay... not a place I even want to toy with trying to got there... scary just to think about it, really.

I am completely blown away by this. I had to catch my breath , your words were vivid, intense and sad. I have experienced such a situation and you have written a perfect example of a woman's point of view.
